Guest book... Many thanks for your hospitality ! We
will go home to Canada and share our wonderful memories from our
time here in Corsica. Your mountains, home and hospitality have
exceeded our expectations. May one day we be able to reciprocate
when you come to Canada and see our mountains. Even if Corsica were not such a beautiful
island the warmth of your hospitality would have made it seem so.
But it IS so beautiful; and you have introduced us to its valleys
and mountains in such a knowledgeable and skilful way that they
will live in our memories for ever. Thanks for all, for the kindness
of your welcome, the splendid way you have fed, wined, transported,
guided and looked after us. The programme you organized for us was
superb : the climbs through valleys of differing characters, the
views from the summits and even the descents were magnificent. We
take back with us those fond memories and the story recommendations
to our friends in New Zealand; and we leave with you our affectionate
best wishes…. From the first contact we had with VALLECIME,
we could feel the passion everyone had for this land. CORSICA is
truly a most beautiful place and who better than Pascale and Jean
François to teach us about the culture, the mountains, the
language and above all the food. We have only had a small taste
of Corsica and are hungry for more. A great introduction to Corsica - superb
hiking with our guide Jean François, friendly meal at the
B&B. Loved trekking in the mountains, sounds of a donkey braying
to put us to sleep. Hovering service – we were well cared for.
By some miracle, our guide always seemed to avoid the rain. We will
remember this place for a long time- many thanks for a happy five
days. The best guides, the most attentive
and considerate people. Always friendly and anxious to help with
any situation. You showed us so much of your beautiful island with
such love and enthousiasm. Thank you also foe the delicious food
you prepared each day – the best tomatoes and basilica…
